Installation & Compatibility Guidelines – VMAX Autotech Pvt. Ltd.

  1. Introduction

At VMAX Autotech Private Limited (hereinafter referred to as “Company”, “we”, “our”, or “us”), safety, precision, and compatibility are paramount.
These Installation & Compatibility Guidelines have been created to ensure that all MAXOTO performance and technology products — including throttle-response systems, engine-tuning modules, and electronic accessories — are installed correctly and operate safely with your vehicle.

By purchasing or using our products, you acknowledge that you have read and understood these Guidelines and agree to follow them in full.

  1. Product Compatibility
  1. MAXOTO products are vehicle-specific, engineered and programmed for defined engine variants, transmission types, and ECU generations.
  2. Compatibility must always be verified before purchase using the following:
    – Vehicle brand, model, variant, engine code, and year of manufacture.
    – VIN or chassis number, where required for cross-checking.
  3. Compatibility verification can be confirmed through:
    – Official MAXOTO product database or configurator.
    – Authorized MAXOTO dealers or distributors.
  4. The Company shall not be liable for performance issues or malfunctions arising from:
    – Installation on a non-supported vehicle model or incorrect variant.
    – Use of counterfeit, tampered, or re-programmed devices.
  1. Professional Installation Requirement
  1. All MAXOTO products must be installed only by authorized and trained MAXOTO or DTE Systems-certified technicians.
  2. Authorized technicians follow approved procedures for harness connection, calibration, mounting, and sealing.
  3. Unauthorized, self, or third-party installation will:
    – Void the product warranty, and
    – Release the Company from all responsibility for resulting faults or damages.
  4. During installation, the technician must:
    – Disconnect vehicle power as per OEM guidelines.
    – Avoid cutting, splicing, or altering factory wiring.
    – Ensure secure and weather-proof connector locking.
  5. Post-installation testing and calibration (where applicable) must be completed to verify correct functionality.
  1. Safety Precautions
  • Do not install or remove any device while the ignition is ON or the engine is running.
  • Avoid routing cables near sharp edges, heat sources, or moving components.
  • Maintain minimum distance from high-voltage circuits or airbag modules.
  • In case of error codes or warning lights post-installation, stop usage immediately and contact MAXOTO Support.
  1. Software & Calibration
  • Certain products (e.g., PedalBox Pro or PowerControl modules) may require software calibration or pairing via the official MAXOTO App.
  • Always use the latest authorized firmware and never attempt third-party flashing or tuning.
  • Software or hardware modification not approved by VMAX Autotech will invalidate all warranties and may breach local vehicle regulations.
  1. Liability Disclaimer
  • The Company is not responsible for damages, ECU errors, or driveability issues caused by incorrect installation, mishandling, or unauthorized alterations.
  • Vehicle performance improvements are subject to driving style, vehicle condition, and operating environment.
  • OEM vehicle warranties remain at the discretion of the respective manufacturer or dealer; VMAX Autotech makes no representation on behalf of any OEM regarding their policies.
  1. Warranty Linkage

To retain warranty eligibility:

  • Installation must be performed by an authorized technician.
  • Proof of installation (job card, invoice, or dealer stamp) must be retained by the customer.
  • The product serial number must be registered on https://maxoto.com within 7 days of installation.

  1. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Guidelines shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising under or in connection with installation or compatibility shall be subject exclusively to the courts of New Delhi, India.
